History, craft and contemporary art.
The museum offers several exhibitions, restaurant, café, shop and an outside park to enjoy and play in. Furthermore the museum sets up exhibitions and acitivities in differents places all around the county. There is something for everybody and for all ages.
The exhibits bring up different topics, either on current and urgent issues of today's society or on human and universal matters that every one of us can relate to. By using history, craft and art we add different kinds of context and new perspectives on for example sustainabillity, migration and flight or on terms, differences and similarities of childhood experiences.

The museum is situated in the harbour area in Nyköping. The visiting address is Tolagsgatan 8.

The museum building has two floors which are accessed via stairs or lifts.
The reception, museum shop and the restaurant are on the ground floor. The shop and the restaurant accepts credit cards and cash payments.
You find cloakrooms with lockers next to the reception.
You can easily get around inside the museum with a wheelchairs and a stroller. There is also a room to park the stroller, to change dipers and several WCs for the disabled. At the reception you can borrow a wheelchair, a walker, walking sticks and magnifying glasses. Speakers, microphone system, hearing aid and free wifi.
Seating is available in several places in the building.
Animals are not allowed inside the museum with the exception of service dogs.
